GREATEST CONQUEROR EVER - ALEXANDER THE GREAT

Share

At 13, is disheartened by father’s conquests.

Worries he would have very little left to conquer!

At 16, leads first expedition, establishes first colony.

At 18, becomes a general in his father’s army.

At 20, ascends to the throne. Heads expedition against Persia.

By 25, conquers most of the known world.

By 32, creates the largest empire ever known.

And 2300 years later, still lives on.

As

Alexander, the Great.

Because he crossed boundaries.

Because he stretched his limits.

And the entire world’s imagination.

  1. Alexander the Great certainly is an iconic historic figure. I hadn't quite appreciated all that he achieved at such an early age. Nice post and a little inspiring.

  2. Thanks, indeed, dear Brian, for your kind words of appreciation!

As you've said, I had observed always that very few people around the world, actually, knew the gargantuan endeavour and peerless spirit of taking up challenges and succeeding with a never-say-die attitude that made him Alexander - The Great!

Hence, this post after some sheer exhaustive reasearch.I look forward to interacting with you more often. Cheers! :))
